Gina Frey joins faculty cluster in science & math education


 

We are pleased to announce that Gina Frey will be joining the University of Utah’s Department of Chemistry and the faculty cluster in science and math education research in January 2020.

Prior to joining the U, Regina (Gina) Frey was Florence E. Moog Professor of STEM Education and Co-Director of the Center for Integrative Research in Cognition, Learning, & Education (CIRCLE) at Washington University in St. Louis. At Washington University, Gina was one of the primary faculty members leading the teaching and curriculum development of General Chemistry. Gina has focused on the development, implementation  and evaluation of active- and collaborative-learning pedagogies, such as PLTL. She holds a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of Utah.
