In September, three finalists from the 2019 University of Utah Science & Engineering Fair (USEF) junior division were selected as finalists in Broadcom MASTERS, a national middle school STEM competition.

 

All three Utah students received awards at the Broadcom MASTERS competition in October:

• Sidor Clare (Beehive Science & Technology Academy): Marconi/Samueli Award for Innovation
• Kassie Holt (Beehive Science & Technology Academy): 1st place in technology
• Mercedes Randhahn (St. Joseph Catholic High School): 2nd place in technology
